🕑 Added 2023-05-17 15:48:23 +0000 UTCJFC the heaviness and realism of this episode...what the internet does to someone and how so many don't realize the person the hate on is a person not some object to be mocked...10/10 even though this episode almost became unwatchable by the end given how real it was jfc. Apparently this story arc was based on a real story about a Japanese reality show that had to cancel when a member Hana Kimura ended up doing this same thing but wasn't saved after the internet bullied her over some petty drama like this...

Oshi No Ko never really clicked for me. But the 1st and 6th Episode are peak. Masterpieces.

Yeah but at least we got a big part of our childhood free from this crap for the most part. But I fear for the kids who are growing up today, never knowing anything else then this cesspool. And there by thinking that it’s something normal, that has always been a part of life

But yeah I would lie if I didn’t think that sometimes it would be better if the internet as we know it did get purged. And away with the anonymity so that everyone no longer can hide behind a screen. But now has to face a person similar to IRL

Man the first part of this episode was fairly light hearted. But then it got too real with the cyberbullying, and how that works

Ya many people can’t simply ignore it and especially if it’s their career. And Akane should be another popular character for this series. It hurts even more to see it affect her real life. The OST elevated this episode too

the internet sucks and anyone who with a straight face tells someone to just ignore someone hating you is truly pathetic. this shit costs people their lives or ruins others. same people who say stuff like that are the ones who cower when anyone stands up to them in public but online they have their tough guy persona

Ya the story is based on the Terrace House incident with Hana. I heard about this in the manga and knew that this would maybe bring back some more people to the story who drifted off. It goes to show how real and fake reality tv is
