yeah but now they can use even stronger attacks and we know the Quincies don't bluff they've had the upper hand since the start

I think the point of them being stronger without Bankai didn't matter because taking the Bankai was the smartest decision regardless tactics-wise. Just make them unable to fight back at all and it doesn't matter if you got slightly nerfed in the process.
