🕑 Added 2024-02-05 21:11:25 +0000 UTCI watched the first 5 mins of this ep when it first aired and didn't vibe with it but the demand was here for a second chance and overall I wanna see more. for me this was the weakest first ep I saw this season of things I'm going to keep watching but now that we are out of generic VN territory and doing the fun isekai stuff I see potential. episode 2 was way better and I kinda wish that was the first episode lmao

Do try to pay attention, she explained that because the demon lord had black hair that everyone with black hair is considered evil as well as she has never met her parents.

This opening tangent with Alicia is not in the manga or the book. My best guess is they wanted to establish these characters early and do a sorta bait and switch for those who haven't read the source material.

You find out how she’s the final boss but not the demon lord (in the game) towards the end of vol 1. But there are hints along the way.

It's a pretty good show. Not peak ... but enjoyable. The 3D is strong in the show's horses tho. :D

You're not a hater. This episode was made with the assumption that those watching had read the light novel or were at least partially aware of it. If you had, then it's funny how bad and misdirecting it is. If you hadn't, then it's just bad.

Yeah but that makes it different to the source material as well in how it started. Like imagined how silly someone would sound if they decided to quit Eminence in shadow after just 5 minutes in the first episode. As they would miss out on so much

Difference is that the first 10 min here where anime original and the eminence in shaddow ep got pulled from a later point of the story

Also can not believe how you did not think that the source of isekai in this show was because of truck-kun. As he is single handily responsible for about 90% of all isekais XD

Well I liked how the first episode was had that twist that it was a more generic show. As that is somewhat similar to an lesser extend what Eminence in Shadow did with it first episode. Where we got introduce to a character who seemed like the MC but actually was not

I think they needed to fill episode 1 cause the 2nd half of it is the prologue of the manga... but i myself am a bit torn on the first half too

I get what they were going for but I honestly didn't need to see the first half of this ep I think starting with the here is her playing a VN and the assembly leading into ep 2's content was the way to go but oh well. don't click with this ep much but ep 2 was great
