Thinking back Frieren does remembered her master very well even up to now, and she's an elf that's not old like the dwarf, so I think she won't have that issue up until she's old old for an elf, interesting thought though.

kinda goes hand in hand with her valuing time now. alive connections matter a lot more to her and she knows time is shorter for those she meets and wants to properly enjoy the company now

I feel like Frieren wanted to stay with the dwarf because so long because he was so lonely. Which would be sweet if that was the case.
