Aesthetics aside, I found myself laughing out loud which doesn't often happen. It's something about how the animation portrays the humor elements..... It may be unusual nowadays, but as an older person, I remember how strange it seemed when shorts became long on children, adults, etc. Except Bermuda shorts. Men's bathing suits showed 3/4 of the thigh. The art reminds me vaguely of cherubs..... It's funny you mention both Slime and how the main character here has no perverted reaction to all the provocation he receives. It's like the inverse of Rimuru whose mind has some perverted reactions, but cannot act out because of his body. And I don't get the sense that it bothers him all that much either. It's one of the reasons I like Slime.

It's the Nier/2B effect, they design a character a certain way to attract a certain demographic. That demographic stays once they realize: "damn this is actually really good"

if you want a better isekai this seaon i could advice you to try Reincarnated as an Aristocrat with an Appraisal Skill it may not be for you but a least it not the trope of op mc that have a harem and no setback

It's guilty pleasure popcorn anime, but it feels almost like another season of The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure - all the women simping for him and even recruiting a demon. I hate the duplicate angle though, I didn't like it when the protagonist did it in Am I Really The Strongest either, I'd rather they just be open about their power.

yeah his actual character is as innocent as it comes (outside of his insane mindset with magic) thew anime is just throwing shots to sell to weirdos but his character isn't weird is the big thing. the sad thing is if this was a female lead there would be no controversy

Yeah like I mean if they really wanted to sexualize him as a shota. They would have done so last episode in the bathhouse. Which proves that most of these complains are baseless

they def are baiting with thigh shots and angles and I could do without like with most shows but the thing is if llyod was a girl most wouldn't be complaining and trying to be social justice warriors. I can do without on most shows with characters this age I just don't think it ruins the show like some are saying

I really love the new character Tao in this episode. And yes the magic seems to be awesome and actually thought out in this story

To be honest I don’t really understand much of the complains that they focus too much on his legs. As unless you have some form of leg kink. Legs are not that attractive compared to the chest or crotch area. Also the show from last year name was Am I really the strongest
