I dont know if you caught it, but that statue with the dog actually depicts the citys name sake "vanquishing" holo, hundreds of years ago. Holo talked a few episodes back about how it didnt go down like that and she bit the guy on the ass

The new Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu adaptation uses one season per book so 12 episodes per book and THEY are going to do all 10 books :)

Honestly sometimes it can be hard to tell what you say is a meme and what is not. Seeing how the memes often turns into half truths lol Also Holo about to hit her partner with a chair, reminded me of Rika from Higurashi and how she did hit Satoko with a chair. Then as well punching or hitting your partner, is a common tsundere thing IMAO
