It is a shame that this show got such a piss-poor treatment... as the ideas that your NPCs developed an ego may not be new but IMHO it is better displayed here than in Overlord. Because here the NPCs developed over time, exceeding their backstory to some degree. This point is better illustrated in the LN. (but to be honest, the NPCs in Overlord did not had hundred of years of development time, so maybe not a so fair comparison ;))

no unless there was a studio change I wouldn't. if I ever continue it'll be in LN form unless somehow there was little to watch in a season

Same, unless this show somehow pulls a "Bookworm season 4" and is given to a more competent studio, I won't be watching. Which is a shame because the characters are really good.

Come on... you know as much as we all, that you'd shove that trashy fast food of an Isekai into your eyes again if a season 2 released. :D Maybe not on patreon or YT ... but you would watch it. ^^

pretty sure the one artist who didn't quit handled the monster designs with some 3rd graders filling in the rest

Isn't it funny that this ass-looking show had some of the best 2D monsters of the season? With all that 3D BS in other shows, it'd be awful not to mention the one good art-thing this show had to offer. :D

I'm gonna miss this show ... as weird as it looked ... world building was great and the characters were pretty well developed. IF they create a 2nd season, I hope they have a bigger budget and less outsourcing. ... Also: Schnee is the first character who actually defeated Shin... even if it's just for a few seconds, leaving him totally flabbergasted. XD

Damn man 😖 it’s not ok what they did to this story. I praying if it does get a new season it’s either by a different studio (with more time) or they just don’t do it.
