It cuts a few things, same like they did with S1... the start of S2 feels off even in the source material... until a certain point... the first step to this point was this episode... again.. threads will converge... and in a VERY satisfying matter... you have to take it slowly and pay attention to each puzzle piece.... and again... remember FUG... it has a reason why they are seen as they are seen by the majority of others in the tower

Well remember that this is the weakest season of the year. And despite ToG flaws it still have pretty good animation when it comes to it fights

tbh i wouldn't even put it in a top 10 but this episode is the closest to s1 quality for me so hopefully it keeps up

for me it's because prior to this episode it's fast paced, weaker produced than s1, and cut half of the characterization out from the source material making me not care about most of the new characters

Also I think that Rachel is lying about not being able to walk. So that she would get more sympathy and help climbing the tower

Season 1 also had lots of criticism, so that is not something new for season 2. But even if I also feel that season 2 is off. It’s still one of the top 5 shows of this season
