I have been very unwell this month and I spent a long time debating what to do about my responsibilities. I have already dropped some external obligations but I'm mainly trying to focus on my health.
I am very sorry to say I will have to take another extended break from Cut Time. It's by far the most work intensive part of my freelancing and desperately don't have enough healthy days to dedicate to it. ):
I think this is all I can manage to drop for the time being -- I'm keeping my patreon and my shop open. I can still share previous Cut Time pages in high res if that's what everyone wants!
The reason I have been quiet is that, trying to work despite my constant struggles with my health burnt me out completely for a while, and I hadn't been drawing -- or when I would try, I couldn't produce anything worthwhile. It's been so depressing!! I've never encountered such a period in my freelance life. Anyway, thank you kindly for your patience and support. It really means a lot to me in these trying times o(-<

Thank you very much for your sentiments. ;-; I actually did look into publishers earlier this year but I don't think I'm where I need to be yet. Plus being partnered with a publisher comes with its own obligations and I don't have the stamina right now unfortunately. I will keep trying my best to get better and do what I can. Thank you!

Juby , I’m so sorry to hear about your health issues, and understand that going into detail about them might expose you emotionally in a way that hurts you more than not. In thinking about you, your work and how inspiring it is, how much I learn just from watching it, I’m filled with gratitude and a knot in my stomach, with the awareness that an amazing artist such as you is undergoing so much hardship. Perhaps an increase in patron supporters would help with the consistency of your income, in terms of financial support for your health first - since your art would be compromised without it. Perhaps, a pitch with some publishers could help you design a deal that would benefit and protect your future while allowing you to focus on your health and only the essential parts of your production, leaving all else in the capable hands of corporate experts. What I mean to say is that I care about you, and considering possibilities and testing their ground might open you up to unexpected opportunities. I’m really rooting for you, in spite of my modest contribution here in Patreon. Wishing you all the best from the bottom of my heart.
Ahh I always love your devil's candy fan art! Also I can't speak for everyone, but personally the last thing I'd like would be to see you burnt out. Please take good care of yourself! Your wellbeing comes first. Also, I received volume one in the mail last month and IT IS JAWDROPPINGLY GORGEOUS!!
