I’m sorry this is happening to you :( sucks to see another artist lose motivation because if assholes who don’t respect artists wanting to make money because “hurr durr I want now”. If you can’t afford the patreon you still have the option to wait and if you can but still do it they’re the worst type of person. Keep up the good work modca, I hope you regain the motivation to work on the comic but even if you don’t fans like me will be eagerly awaiting more great content from you :)

a possible solution, many artists post their exclusives on a discord server, with a lot less leaks but that still might get leaked

You could try to figure some semblance of a system to avoid it. Some creators tend to upload rewards to a mega folder and have the link present in the patreon post; But only give the decryption key in private messages.

theres not even personal gain from leaking pages, but from what i've seen at least, they tend to be kinda bot-y? i dunno its hard to explain, but they just auto grab and upload pages, the best way to avoid it would be release EVERYTHING at the beginning of the month after the billing cycle, and you only get THAT month, but then you run into the issue of now you're not uploading comic pages every week, and there are long gaps in uploads on twitter since you post pages the following week there, its a mess....your art style and the content you make are amazing, i'd hate to see another amazing comic just stop mid way through, seen too many good artists do that. if a poll was created i have no doubts that it would be an overwhelming amount of support for it continuing. my only request is that you dont stop it, even if its means only releasing them for free and giving us something else (i've seen artists offer alternate angles and stuff but) i'd be willing to help brain storm idea's to keep people from stealing whether its PMing dropbox links to patreon's or even contacting sites you're seeing these pages stolen on and working to take them down (if you haven't already of course). i know if you put "for patreon's only" or "not for redistribution" as a little watermark at the bottom that tends to stop most of the respectful sites from approving them, but there are still those that dont care about that stuff. Again if you want to bounce some idea's off me hit me up, i'll let you know my thoughts. sorry for the great wall of text post oof

I’ve only ever seen one around this: QR code watermarks. The site that used them obviously had some sort of automated system for applying them, so it might not be viable for you. You’d have message uniquely marked versions to each of your patrons and have a record linking them. But sometimes preventing cheats isn’t about making something 100% secure but about making it more of pain in the ass than its worth. So even a less intense version of the above method may be enough. Like old CD drm was never expected to be foolproof, but rather it would stall pirates long enough for majority glut of release sales to peter out, minimizing losses.

Maybe there's a way to control your work getting out. Like distributing from a third party hosting site and watermarking pieces so you can narrow down who's leaking.

I don't mind reuploads there since they make a point to provide sources and always upload pages that are already public. So no issues with e621 at least.

I find it pretty cringy tbh, I'd say just dmca where the leaks are being posted. Being an artist is already costly enough and losing potential cash to leakers is shitty. I hope things go well for you though.
