Here's another post of me pouring a bunch of process photos. Instead of repeating the same commentary, this time I want to share something different. So here are the brushes sets I use 95% of the time in those works:
又到了硬塞成堆過程圖解的時間，前半都是無法成功完稿的版本，後半則還是草稿階段，想說這回就跳過步驟解說，來聊一下筆刷好了。本帖另外附上兩組本月份使用到的筆刷：

這回我把它們分成六種類型，至於示範影像可以直接參考本月錄製的第21和22 支實況。
- Flat brush 扁形筆刷
Good for sketching and shading. If squeezing a square shape brush to a flat shape one, it will often be great for dealing with values too.
適合打底稿和上陰影。假如把方形筆刷擠壓成扁形，通常也很適合拿來處理灰度。 - Round brush 圓形筆刷
Very versatile brushes. You might already see many artists only use round brushes. Though I still change brushes a lot, and I prefer to only use them for "drawing" because of its flexibility of depicting lines and shapes, or painting big and soft forms.
非常通用的筆刷。各位可能常聽到有些畫師從頭到尾都只用圓筆刷，圓筆刷就是如此神奇~~但我個人對灰度的控制力不好，所以我還是會避免直接用它來堆灰度。圓筆刷因為沒有任何稜角、因此在畫線條和摳邊邊的時候特別靈活、適合拿來畫線和勾勒用，或是拿來大面積刷較軟的塊面。 - Square brush 方形筆刷
Good for applying rich and dynamic values. It leaves a clear and unified trace when overlaying its strokes, so, very ideal for "carving" forms. But a bit clumsy when it comes to drawing shapes. Good for rendering/painting, but not ideal for sketching or drawing.
可以快速堆疊出豐富的灰度和結構。比起其他形狀的筆尖、方形筆會在堆疊處留下整齊平行的筆觸，因此適合用來雕刻立體的結構。但在畫線稿或摳邊邊的時候難以留下清晰整潔的邊緣。適合用來處理灰度、但不適合用來直接打稿、整理邊緣或畫線稿。 - Triangle brush 三角形筆刷
An alternative solution if you don't like round and square brushes. These are like something in between. Personally, I only use them for refining hard edges and carving small forms, because they are also good for emphasizing very sharp shapes.
特性大致上介於圓形和方形筆刷之間。我個人只拿來處理特別銳利的邊緣或是細小的結構。 - Random brush 不規則形筆刷
Those brushes often create textures and are good for mimicking real media. But in my case, those textures will add too much noise and interfere with values and shapes. Mostly I use them for adding texture as final touches.
這類筆刷因為畫下去帶有明顯的材質感，所以通常是拿來模擬真實媒材用。也因為帶著質感、過度使用會讓灰度和形狀變得難以觀察。這類筆刷我多半只在最後步驟使用。 - Airbrush 噴槍形筆刷
Good for adjusting the values. They are not ideal for neither "painting" or "drawing" and are often only used as adjusting purpose. I rarely use them because they will easily eliminate detailed forms and values. If you want to smooth something out it's still better to use round or square brushes.
適合拿來調整灰度。不適合拿來「描繪」或「塗畫」，只適合拿來「調整」的筆刷。我幾乎不太會去用，因為這類筆刷容易把細微的型體和灰度遮蓋掉，如果想讓畫面某個結構變得更平滑，基本還是建議使用其他類型的筆刷一筆一筆慢慢處理。
Additional - Super brush 補充-萬用筆
The "Super brush" is categorized into flat group, but its scruffy shape shares the same features as random ones. I remember the first time seeing this brush it was used by an artist named Wei Feng(馮偉). He can even use this brush in most of his process. In my case, I still only use it for sketching and it's good for mimicking charcoal drawings.
這支萬用筆被我歸類在扁形筆，但它其實也具備不規則形筆刷的特性。我最早是在中國畫師馮偉的示範影片中注意到這支筆刷、他甚至可以幾乎只使用這支筆完稿。但我不擅處理灰度、這支筆刷又自帶材質(材質多少會影響到灰度的處理)，所以我只拿它來畫類似炭筆效果的草稿。

Oh my mistake! Thank you so much for pointing it out.
Oh it's abr file so it's for Photoshop. Better use it on CC2018 or 2019, it might still be loaded in older version but will miss the opacity and flow settings.

Thank you so much for sharing this process and the brushes as well. I don't have PaintStorm yet, but I'm going to look into getting it and testing it out.
Okay, let's calculate (glad I have streams now)! The two streams videos combined are 6:05:27, and extra 2 hrs (approximately) on the first one before recording the stream. Normally I took 30 mins break total in each stream. Anyway, it's about 3.5 hrs for each one of them if taking no breaks.
Thank you for sharing brushes! Can't wait to test them, unfortunately it won't be soon :c I do love the steps <3 It is very convenient to watch them after the stream. May I ask how much time did you spend on drawing the last two versions?
