But I think there's a reason so many other people request reactions to content that has sad moments, like EXO's Paper Cuts, EXO is Family, Seventeen's Tipsy Live etc. It's because they hope to share their deeper connection to a group with reactors. There's a depth to the bond that is only made by knowing about the hardships along with the happy moments. Maybe I am assuming too much, but the groups that I only know happy moments from are the ones that I am only a casual follower of and likely to lose interest for another group after awhile. The groups that I know the full story good and bad are the ones I care about more and care about longer. A good example is that I feel way more connection to Simon and Kerry who have shared on discord about what things are difficult for them compared to if I just watch a reactor who makes cute funny content only. Cute funny content alone is more shallow. However, I do understand that the show would be a really difficult watch for them, that's why I think it would be good to watch just episode 1 of Treasure Box and stop there. To me, seeing the interactions of Team A members such as Hyunsuk and Yedam with the young ones in Team C, seeing Team C walking to YG building from school and what their practices were like, seeing Doyoung being asked to go talk to Junkyu, Team J arriving from Japan, what training was like for all YG's kids which leads them to be incredible live performers--just in Episode 1 alone there's already so many worthwhile moments that give context about the group. And there's zero eliminations in Episode 1. So I still hope for Episode 1 and then on to Treasure Map.

Its up to you to watch treasure box or not but if you ask me and this is what i told all my friends. Dont watch it. It hurts . But i dont know maybe its nice to know the boys since the start but treasure map is so so much fun to get to know them also . This is my opinion only

The younger ones were so young during their survival show. In the first episode, there is one part where jeongwoo sits in front of hyunsuk and you can really see how young he was compared to hyunsuk. I would love to see you guys react to it but i understand if u cant :)

I can reassure you on some of the people in the survival show. Jeongseob was in Treasure Box and ended up in P1Harmony! He is really cute in the show. Two others ended up in a group called CIX and still are friends with Treasure members. I remember Doyoung saying he was calling one of them to wish him a happy birthday and Junghwan was supporting P1Harmony's song during his livestream. But, not gonna lie, it IS a legitimate survival show with sad moments and eliminations. I'm happy to put in trigger warnings for sad moments ahead of time if you want to do it. But if you don't feel up for watching the full series I hope you can watch the first episode to see all of them at that age. They're all so adorable, especially the maknae line were all so baby and Asahi still had a rounder face back then and Junkyu was in his sad boy era unlike how he is now. Episode 1 only sets up the show, introduces all the people and shows what it's like inside YG for a trainee.

Psst, secretly I think Hyunsuk could've landed that long jump if he wasn't either wearing really tall shoes or shoes with lifts inside to make him look taller on the show hehe! Oh I felt soooo bad for Jeongwoo when he just kept looking and looking inside the cabinet even though he saw that it's empty and then he just stood there for a long time with a blank look. The poor baby!
