Thank you for being so kind😭I guess I am still in a stage of transition, like to find a new balance of my vision and ability. But I'm keeping in mind that enjoyment is important for creating art.

Oh it's a bit tricky to explain. I feel the reason for me to get bored in the process has been always changing. If you see drawing only a hobbit to pass time or just started for 1-2 years, it's common to be bored of the long process within 2~3 hours. And I was the same many years ago. And it's okay to do it whatever way you want because it's like a stage that we're just exploring. After the exploring stage, I developed a more specific requirement for creations, and my vision of what it should be like is more clear. So it's natural for me to continue doing the same piece until it fulfills my vision. 15 years ago I spent averagely 1-2 nights (still a student at that time) for one work. Sometimes 3-4 nights. After I become a full-time artist it went from 1-2 days to 1 week, then 2 weeks. If I got stuck in the process, unfortunately, it will take 1 month... Anyway, I guess the method to keep working on the same piece, is by developing the artist's own vision of their work because they will naturally want to come back if they still have something in their mind to add on it. And uh a lazier answer is that I listen to a lot of gaming livestreams while working. Or just find anything that makes you feel more companied.

Welcome back Rae! Personally, I never think you are not working hard or trying your best. Don't be too hard on yourself when you feel you are not as fast as you would like! Progress is wonderful and admirable, but you having fun with your journey is the most important! Perfectionism only gets you so far before it can become debilitating and it's such a pity if it sucks out your enjoyment, don't let that happen please! I'll be studying your upload in the coming days, as it's gorgeous and worth of attention as always :)

Hello and welcome back! When I'm drawing I'm getting bored of an art pretty quickly. How do you keep your interest for the same piece?

I'm using Photoshop CC 2019, on Cintiq 16 HD (not pro version). It might seem a bit odd but I sync the Cintiq to another monitor of 4k resolution which I bought from years ago. For some reason, the image quality looks sharper and clearer if the Cintiq "pretends" to display 4k resolution.

Thank you! ❤️

I'm happy to see you again too <3 I'm very lucky to have the support that is enough to keep me trying whatever I want to. Hopefully this work can go smoothly till being finished.

Welcome back! It's great to see your art again! May I ask what program and tablet you are currently using?

It's good to see you again! ^^ glad you keep drawing!

I missed you! I did wonder if you were alright or not, but I saw your Twitter updates, so I am glad you found a process that works for you:) I'm just so happy to see your work again<333

Thank you so much 😭 I miss the day of being able to create something I can be happy with and eager to share with everyone. You all are so important for me to stay on track.

I've missed you too! 😭

Thank you 😭 I am proud of the result so far, which is rare for me to feel in recent years.

Thank you for your kind words... I'm too lucky to have your support. I am not good at explaining, but I hope my works can show what I want to achieve, and all the paths I've taken.

This is gorgeous, and we're just waiting for you to come back. Take all the time you need!!! ❤️

I don't mind in supporting you on Patreon. It's always nice to see your artwork, wip or not. I love the way the hair looks! Nicely done! 👍♥️

It looks absolutely stunning! Can’t get over how smooth and fluid you draw hair, and the rest looks gorgeous too. And you just take all the time you need, I think everyone understands. But so glad you feel happy with the piece so far, crossing my fingers you’ll have fun with the rest too! Will say again your art looks gorgeous, happy to be able to support you through Patreon ;u;
