Goblin - Episode 14

In Episode 14 of Goblin, the aftermath of Shin's fiery disappearance leaves the world forever changed. With Shin trapped in a snowy wasteland between life and death, those who once knew him, including Eun-tak, lose all memory of his existence. However, even though her memories have been wiped, Eun-tak—now a radio PD—feels an unexplained sadness, a sense of loss she can’t quite place. Shin, trapped in limbo, pleads with the gods to let him return, vowing to come back as the rain, the wind, and the first snow, keeping his promise to Eun-tak.
The Pain of Loss
Though everyone forgets Shin, the emotional impact of his absence remains. Eun-tak is particularly haunted by a sadness she cannot explain, as she is drawn to certain objects, like a necklace and a poem, without remembering their significance. As the years pass, this inexplicable grief follows her, lingering in the background of her life.
A Miraculous Return
Nine years later, on her birthday, Eun-tak unknowingly summons Shin by blowing out a candle. This moment allows Shin to return, though she does not recognise him. As Shin realises he has been erased from her memory, he stays close to her, hoping to reignite the connection they once had. Their reunion is bittersweet, as Eun-tak feels an inexplicable pull towards him, even though she cannot remember who he is.
Reconnecting with Old Friends
Shin also reconnects with Reaper and Deok-hwa, and to his surprise, Reaper remembers him. This unexpected memory leads to a moving moment of reconciliation between the two, as Reaper expresses regret for his inability to protect Shin or love anyone in his past life. Their bond deepens as they reflect on their shared history and the consequences of their fates.
Rebuilding a Lost Connection
As Shin quietly integrates himself back into Eun-tak's life, she slowly begins to piece together fragments of her forgotten past. The emotional weight of their relationship and the mysteries of her lost memories drive the episode, building towards a powerful and emotional climax.
With its poignant exploration of memory, love, and fate, Episode 14 continues to pull at viewers' heartstrings, setting the stage for the resolution of Shin and Eun-tak's intertwined destinies.

If you want funny and quality then I'd recommend Mr. Queen. But if you want a modern kdrama instead that meets those 2 qualifications, I can't really think of one

I'm excited for the next drama too. Everyone now is going back to watch Scarlet Heart Ryeo Moon Lovers bcz is one of the best kdrama ever! And like i told u the cast is CASTING we have in this drama: Baekhyun, Iu, Sohyun (of Snsd) and also great actors like: Kang Haneul, Lee Joon Gi, Kim Jisoo and Namjoo Ryuk. Plz consider this one in ur list.

I recommend all the works of the artist who made [Doblin: The Lonely and Great God]. It is popular not only in Korea but also throughout Asia. The story is probable, the direction is wonderful, and every line is beautiful. There is a Korean drama that is famous only in foreign countries. I am Korean, but I do not recommend it. This is because I think it is a very childish love story and a B-list drama without a core. After the drama is over, I would like to recommend a drama that remains strong in my heart. Thanks for the reaction! Wanted to say that at the time period it was almost unheard of for shows to get more than one season (even now it's really rare for korean entertainment). As for the recommendations, mine are: W - Two Worlds The King: Eternal Monarch Tale of the Nine Tailed The Legend of the Blue Sea Those are all very interesting and have a lot of funny and sad moments? as well as plot twists. Anyway love you guys ♥

My personal rec is "Beyond Evil". Great acting, and interesting plot, however the genre is kind of murder mystery, which intrinsically has a bit of sadness to it so I'm not sure if it'll be Kerry's thing. However, that will forever be my one pick show so I'll keep recommending it lmao

Regarding your last conversation about future shows... You two will henceforth be called ML and FL (male and female lead). The following is def just my opinion: FL request for funny: Mr. Queen is an option, great acting, good humor. For a more rom-com feel, Business Proposal is great! ML request for quality: Alchemy of Souls, Twinkling Watermelon, My Mister (this one def clashes with FL request for a not sad show) My favorites that no one asked for: Moving, Crash Landing on you, Twinkling Watermelon I've no clue what the public will pick but I think for your requests, Twinkling Watermelon will work out best. Has it's funny moments, isn't super sad, and is a quality production. Don't judge it too hard by it's name lol.
