The Guests and Their Roles
The guest lineup features Mingyu, Hoshi, Wonwoo, and Vernon, each with their own distinct characters. Hoshi, in true fashion, tries to steal the spotlight and take over the show, while Mingyu is set on proving himself worthy of attention. Wonwoo’s deadpan delivery as himself provides a steady stream of laughs, and Vernon, hilariously, plays the part of a confused audience member.

Just a random thought that entered my head while listening to you chat in the beginning of this: S.Coups is actually capable of staying serious/in character occasionally (I know - it sounds fake - but i swear it is true) - If you want to experience that one episode that comes to mind is "Bad Clue 2" (Which is better than Bad Clue 1 - even though I still really like the first one as well - but should be watched after because of spoilers). Just a thought that popped into my head - i haven't rewatched those in a while but i vividly remember S.Coups being one of my favourite Parts of it... (also i just highly recommend Bad Clue -especially the second one - in general^^ lots of character work from the members)

...but before they had a huge budget, they were amazing and entertaining. Yes, having 13 talented members surely help, I mean, they can certainly do everything! There is a lot of genuinely funny, chaotic and well made variety content by other groups as well, especially boy groups, such as with TXT, Ateez, Monsta X, BTOB and WayV for example, as well as being naturally talented comedians, but it's true that Seventeen's content uses a lot of budget and of course having 13 members also helps with the fun and chaos haha

It was crazy for them to have this concept for a comeback special lol. They're AMAZING! I could only imagine the confusion of people who are new to SVT. Like they'll probably be smiling/laughing for sure but would be confused if they're really pissed off with each other, esp with MC Boo and Jo Eulho😆 There's a lot of scenes and jokes here too that will be appreciated more by those who are familiar with the references/memes or at least have watched (older) Korean variety/talk shows... I'm very curious for the next part. Would Jo Eulho really have his hair dyed by then? Would Coups somehow join them? How will they introduce the tt 'Love, Money, Fame' ? Ahh~ excited for the cb for real!

Seventeen loves us so much Carats! They work extremely hard for our entertainment. We are forever SVT. ...I don't watch other groups' content, can anyone tell me, do other groups do these types of contents for their fans like SVT, and if so, are they as naturally talented as our boys?

an older set of episodes of going seventeen where this host seungkwan is referencing is from “boo seungkwan’s past life destiny” it’s so fun!!!! if you want an episode where the improv doesn’t work you’ll have to watch the carnival episode, they are losing their minds the whole time because of how awkward it is it’s the best

apparently minghao's character is a parody from a Korean show where the guy was being interviewed and every time he thought he heard a wasp he would go running out of frame to catch it. i'm not sure if any other characters are parodies as well.

Having watched this now this was so fun!! It was edited so much like a real Korean Variety. Just like Simon said loved the intro they whipped up for Wonu. Also Wonu's bit with the TV and the opposite dance wrt Dino got me laughing so hard LMAO! Cant wait for next week haha.

The title track is love money fame (feat DJ Khalid) which I think is the reason for love money honour comments and the english name for vocal unit is candy (though I think it may be more like sugar or sweet so honey bee could be in reference to that)

Guys did you see that Seventeen (DK and Seungkwan) did the song for David Attenborough's new series "ASIA"?? The trailer came out today with the song and the song played on BBC 1 radio too.

This was so funny, I love how the editors always keep everything in even the bits members want cut 😭 Boo was really acting like those old show hosts, I did miss Scoups but I’m glad he’s prioritising his health. All the characters are so funny, Dino’s is perfect and of course DK always extra and of course Wonwoo is himself and Vernon an audience member how fitting, Minghao saying bee Mingyu is nothing much 😭 never catching a break. I love how they always reference older episodes I fear they’ll keep mentioning Carnival episode even 10 years down the line 😂 Can’t wait for next week!
