Jina, Joo-ik, and Hyun-gyu inch toward a resolution, yet it is not neat. The choices feel honest, but there are lingering doubts about what Jina truly wants and whether anyone can give it to her right now.
We also get a brief, chilling glimpse of the world that would exist if Dong-kyung keeps her end of the contract and brings Doom to everything. It is stark, thought-provoking, and raises the stakes without tipping into spectacle. A reflective, aching pair of steps toward the end.

So much of this reminds me of Goblin. Fate, the religious element, with god messing with the main characters, the white butterfly, the gut wrenching pain at the inevitable end of one person. And more but I’m tired.
