I'm glad that was on purpose! And Eyia said that in "A goddess' touch"

SME

Haha! I was wondering if anyone would notice that. Yes, it'll come up later >.> the punch to the gut when Sora realizes it ... wait ... how much did you eat Aiden? ^_^ Two plates! 0_0 rematch! Also, I have to say ... I did forget about Eyia tagging along >.> I'll have to look into where I mentioned that and see what I can work out. I gotta add a few parts to the chapter anyways.

Wasn't Eiya planning on coming with so she could examine the caves walls? (Also poor Aiden, gets challenged to an eating contest, and the other person gets distracted and wanders off. I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not but that's unreasonably funny to me (when I think of it like that))

There’s actually extremely little evidence to even support the smallpox case ... extremely little and very very subject to interpretation. The only ‘possible’ account was even a single incident that there is no evidence that it actually worked against that one tribe. If they did, then it’s horrible, of course, but it’s the same subject of innocent until proven guilty. I do apologize if it did come across as the Europeans being saints and I clearly stated that they were both doing things we would think today ... as a more ethically mellow society, would consider terrible. I’ll add some more verifiable evidence against the settlers when I get some time to try and even it out more, though. Thanks for your concern, I like to be accurate!

I get that you don't want the simplistic villinization of European settlers but I think you went to far in the opposite direction so that it reads like your saying the Europeans were saints and the native people's of the Americas were simplistic barbaric savages. I think and hope that you where trying to show that both the Europeans and Americans made mistakes and had parts of their cultures that nowadays we would condemn bit you overshot that mark. PS the spanish may have not known about the nature of bacteria and viruses but they did know enough to know that giving the natives blankets from smallpox victims would make them sick.
