Oooh if i could move to another country outside the US, I'd probably choose New Zealand! Either Auckland, Christchurch or Tauranga. Congrats to the friendo who will move to the new city! I was in that position couple times, my advice: search as much information as you can from the internet, youtube, local forum websites etc to prevent culture shock. Also check the crime rate and some important phone numbers like the local police station, hospitals near your place, etc just in case. Good luck!!
