I agree, we can be nitpicky about the negatives because for some reason we expect shows to be perfect all around, but all three of these are a great watch in general. Sure there's some annoying stuff here and there but c'est la vie

That's the argument, we're in agreeing terms about this. Studios like Mappa, or Madhouse, end up being so good, that the "higher ups" start taking many more projects to increase their earnings, and neglect fan favoured series in the process.

that's not how production works unfortunately. They always do a great job and we should be thankful for that. The people acutally working are not the ones with actual decisional power.

Part of them became Mappa, it's in their DNA to have tons of different projects, do a GREAT job with most (if not all) of them and leave some behind for whichever reason, heh.

I truly believe Tony would REALLY enjoy shows like Kaiji or Parasyte: The Maxim, but Mob Psycho is SO good and such a more "grounded", complete type of show (all things considered). Besides, he could use some quality fun after so many "dark and gloomy" shows in a row, hahah.

Excuse the length: I'm glad you kept it real. I was about to say something as well but I thought I would be exiled. Lol. It isn't that MOB is bad, but more of an acquired taste as far as animation goes. Music-wise, it has received praise from Tony. It seems Tony will put his professionalism to good use no matter how the acquired taste hits him Demon Slayer is still incomplete as far as the Anime goes. It isn't like Jujutsu Kaisen that leaves you with that "it" factor cliffhanger. It is also run of the mill. I haven't seen Re: Zero yet. I went back and viewed all previous anime on my list over but more with my ears this time. Tony's fault. Lol. I'm surprised Samurai Champloo didn't make it on the list. I believe it is the shortest but complete anime of the heavy hitters, story and music wise. I like Psycho-Pass and Parasite also. I'm glad that FMAB finally made it.

In my personal opinion, I don't think any of these three options are your preference. For example, there are cruel scenes, but isn't "PSYCHO-PASS" or "Parasite" more interested in Tony?

Re:zero is really good but Mob Psycho is a much better anime overall. Demon Slayer is very run of the mill with some fancy sword visuals but the story is not anything special.

Has DRT ever seen isekais (i.e. a guy is transported to another world), if not then Rezero will be a good pick. I think DRT mentioned that he watched Neverending story. Anime isekais are basically the same thing but much more degenerate but fun lol

I mean, in terms of variety for the channel, I don't think it's comparable either. We're already watching a shonen after all, and just stopped watching another one that has a focus on fights (JJK). For variety, Re:Zero would be by far the most "different" thing he's watched.

Both Mob and Rezero are in my top 5 so whoever wins is good, as for demon slayer, i personally dont like it at all story and character wise, HOWEVER it has a great animation, some pretty good fights, and some banger osts, so it can be enjoyable or fun (unless u hate the main characters like i do)

I like all three of these shows, but to me when a character is unlikable in DS it's played up for comedy but people find it annoying instead, where as in ReZero it's for things that characters do that I see as working as intended, as in you're supposed to be upset with that character at that time as part of the story.

Same for me, havent seen Mob yet and after the first 10 episodes I wasnt really interested in Demon Slayer and quit. But I feel like I should give it another try because its so popular, so if it wins I might watch along. Still voting for Re:Zero.

All you're watching the story for is hype. There's nothing wrong with that, obviously, but how does that equal variety???

I do hope you check out Re:Zero at some point. I'm not much of a fan of Re:Zero myself, but it's by far the show I think you'd enjoy most out of these 3. Taking Story + Character + Mystery + OST into consideration.

For these choices I'd pick Mob as rezero is still ongoing. I'd love to see you eventually watch Hunter x Hunter, especially since you've been enjoying the music, and I'm sure that you'll enjoy the story as it flows smoothly and is well thought out

Both re:zero and demon slayer have major characters in them that will have you smashing your head against your desk. Both have amazing OSTs though. I'm not even that big of a MOB fan and I think you would like it more based on your reactions to other series.

Of the 3, I feel Demon Slayer has the weakest story and some of the worst characters, but the best soundtrack. 👌 I'd like to see it here for that reason alone. Hard to pick, but I will go with Mob Psycho for now.

ReZero story/writing is leagues above the other two but it is so dialogue heavy that I'm 99% you'll miss most of the plot because they talk really fast a good amount of the time. The plot itself is pretty thorough with lots to keep track of. Effort is required for it. Think the other two are better candidates.

As much as I love Demon Slayer (and it would bring a ton of views) I would recommend watching Fate instead (in the future since DS is not winning anyway). You wold absolutely love it. It's from the same studio as DS aka best animation ever but the story is much more up your alley.

If you doesn't want decline both physically and mentally, then don't watch Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba, it's mostly degenerate, only some dramatic scene and fight are good. Re:Zero is really peak, and it has a really great OST. (I haven't seen Mob Psycho 100.)
