Fun note. Lady Gyoukuo VA is Atsumi Takenazi who is the same as Frieren and Anya from Spy x Family. Three totaly different style of character voices. So talented.

Yeah, I was going to mention something similar. In Chinese, "maomao" is how kids are often depicted calling cats. It's basically the same as a kid calling them 'kitty-cat' in English.

Ah, thanks for the correction! I think "Echo" is one of the most memorable tracks from the series so he stuck out to me. Satoru Kosaki and Alisa Okehazama putting in work too of course. :)

Most of it isnβt Kevin Penkin though if I recall correctly, he collaborated on the soundtrack with two other composers. But the tracks he did are awesome of course.

I think Maomao's name is based on the kanji for cat, which is why she's always getting cat ears in the comical scenes.

Glad you're enjoying the OST! Kevin Penkin does great stuff. Even if you never check out the anime due to its sus contents, I'd recommend to check out the work he did on Made in Abyss.

The vase scene I didn't catch initially but basically since her salary goes to her kidnapper, taking compensation for the broken vase out of her salary is a way to get back at the kidnappers
