I feel the same Matias. Steins Gate Zero is so essential and I love almost just as much as the original show

I watched Steins;Gate as my second anime after Death Note years ago, and have found only few animanga that compare (Berserk manga and One Piece). It's sad that many won't continue the story with S;G 0 as it really feels like a continuation to the "timeline" of the "first", it's literally made by the same people, so you can expect the quality of everything to stay the same. The experience is just not the same without it. I also watched the movie and played the game, but S;G 0 atleast is a must.

15:40 Haven't finished the whole reaction yet so maybe you touch on this again, but after the D-Mail is reverted, the time leap machine won't exist (since Kurisu made it) and they won't be able to use D-Mails to change anything because that would just take them back to the Mayuri worldline

Something people don't often talk about but is very obvious if you go back is how much okarin dropped the whole chuunibiyou mad scientist act. Instead of using it as his main "personality", he just uses it to reassure his friends that he's doing fine and is just his old self.

25:55 not a spoiler but there's only one active worldline at a time. Whichever worldline Okabe is on currently is the only one that actually exists. They do a poor job of emphasizing this in the anime but it's explained and confirmed a lot better early in the VN. Man this show would be extra depressing if all worldlines existed at once.

That was the order I did it, it doesn't cut into anything and works chronologically. Release order is fine too but I'd rather that order for reasons that I can't say because of small spoilers.

I just like leaving the move for last bc it feels like a nice way to wrap up the series, especially with there kinda being a reverse in the roles. But you're right, it doesnt really affect anything.

15:20 Remember that dmails do not move you forward or backward in time. You move between world lines and that's it. So changing world lines on Aug 15 (or whatever day it is) would move him from current world line Aug15 to next world line Aug15. He said Kurisu was stabbed on July 28.

I would prefer "old-school" release order. But in general, two tracks OVA->Movie and 23β->S;G0 don't intersect. So it doesnt matter actually what you watch first Movie or S;G0.

As a person from another reaction channel said, the characters in Steins;Gate are the kind of people you would want to be friends with in real life. Also, in the previous S;G video, you said you would prefer the released order: 1. Steins;Gate (2010) 2. OVA - Egoistic Poriomania (2012) 3. Movie - Load Region of Deva Vu (2013) 4. 23B OVA (2015) 5. Steins;Gate 0 (2018) I'll post this order in the future if you need me to.

You got the point here. Okabe can jump back in time in this alpha-wordline because Kurisu has made time machine. If he cancels first D-Mail and moves back to beta-worldline Kurisu is dead and Okabe has no time-machine. So deleting the first D-Mail is a tough decision, a one way ticket.

Yeah I just added the non cannon stuff at the end to not disrupt the story, but yeah it can be watched whenever he wants. He definitely shouldn't watch in chronological order for his first watch tho. Chronological on a rewatch 100%, but it's just too much waiting for the payoff. I think most would agree

Also here are other alternative watch orders from r/anime Steins;Gate -> Steins;Gate 23β -> Steins;Gate 0 -> Steins;Gate 0: Kesshou Takei no Valentine - Bittersweet Intermedio -> OVA -> Movie (23β, 0, and Kesshou Takei no Valentine - Bittersweet Intermedio can also go after the OVA and Movie for release order) Alternatively, 23β, Steins;Gate 0, and Kesshou Takei no Valentine - Bittersweet Intermedio can be watched in between Steins;Gate as follows: Steins;Gate Episodes 1-22 -> Steins;Gate 23β -> Steins;Gate 0 Episodes 1-11 -> Steins;Gate 0: Kesshou Takei no Valentine - Bittersweet Intermedio -> Steins;Gate 0 Episodes 12-23 -> Steins;Gate Episodes 23-24 -> OVA -> Movie
