You know I didn't love this show when it aired, but with the amount of shitty isekais we've had since, I'm coming around on it again, it's almost refreshingly good. Also gotta say while I didn't love the OPs when it aired, I have to admit they fit the show just as well as AoT openings fit AoT.

This "time leap" aspect makes everything so suspenseful and tense just like in Stein's;Gate because the mechanics of how it works makes every episode like a puzzle where both you and the character are trying to figure out how to solve the situation. I think it's similarly why AOT had so many great moments because as the situation changed the world was always this evolving puzzle, and I just find this kinds of evolving mysteries super compelling. Looking forward to more! Also lots of great music to come

I think the issue wasn't the length of the episode (although that was part of it), it was the length of time it took to render. Having to cut up an episode into smaller parts likely just adds MORE time to the editing/uploading process.

Glad you are enjoying it so far! And it does keep this energy and frankly I feel like it gets even better over time too. There might be some slower moments but everything is always building towards something and there is always a narrative payoff coming down the road at all times. I will mention that the site you are watching it on does seem to be degrading the video quality slightly. Everything seems to be a tiny bit fuzzy and a little washed out. It's not enough to ruin the reaction or your viewing experience but its not as clear/crisp as it would normally be. It seems like all the good quality video sites only have the director's cut now and I know you mentioned the reasons for not doing it. However, another option might be to watch the director's cut and just put out half of each episode, each time slot. So you're not having to double up your content output and the audience still gets the same 30 min-ish episodes each slot. The director's cut is mostly just two episodes squished together anyways with some minor editing changes. If that's still a big hassle though, then forget I said anything haha. The reactions are still good!

ReZero's overall sound is amazing to me. I love how one moment you'll be hearing what sounds like your standard fantasy music and the next you'll be hearing eery and awkward sounds, if that makes any sense lol

Depends on the world and story if the inhabitants are aware of world travellers. Some are completely oblivous and others have multiple people coming from earth that its common knowledge. They usually see it as magic via summoning if they are aware. As for returning, its usually a mystery if a character can return or not. A common trope is that they kill the demom king to return but the twist is sometimes they get lied to and are just stuck.

The soundtrack for this anime is one of my favorites. They really know how to pull out that whimsical fantasy feel when its good for it, then slide right into heartpounding horror types, and then up to the epic action pieces. It's just so well rounded and has this really nice selection of instruments, and its all composed so well. I think there will be a few songs through this anime you might want to even pull aside and react to separately after hearing them
