I'm pretty sure the whole "don't turn back" deal is a reference to the greek myth of Orpheus. He wanted to bring back his wife from the realm of death so he went there and made a deal with Hades. He had to walk back to the land of the living with his wife following behind without but he looked back even once, he would lose her for good.

You probably don't remember but Kira was alluded to in the opening cutscene of part 4, it's cool to rewatch and know what the hell was going on in that scene lol.

Love the OST (Wakare Tabidachi/Separation and Departure by Yugo Kanno) at 19:06! Has a similar name to a Part 3 OST called "Tabidachi" which translates to Departure/Setting Off. Plot is starting to pick up, DiU has a slow start, but is probably the best JoJo part imo (cant comment on Part 7-9 as i'm an anime only watcher)
