Longer anime suggestions: Sword art online, Mushoku tensei(jobless reincarnation), that one time I got reincarnated as a slime, the eminence in shadow, overlord, and Tokyo revengers. Shorter anime/movie suggestions: erased, a silent voice, any studio ghibli movie ever, akame ga kill!, and words bubble up like soda pop.

Occasionally there will be anime with 4-12 minute episodes, but the only ones I can remember at the moment are ones I don't think you'd like. If I can remember any others, I'll post them.

I'd recommend the film Look Back. From the author of Chainsaw Man (but nothing like it) and received heaps of awards. It's also only roughly an hour long which might be easier for you to fit in!

I recommend Love death and robots on netflix or Secret level. They're animated episodic short films ranging from 5-20 min episodes, and because each episode has there own story you dont have to watch the entire season and if you like it you can come back whenever you have a free spot somewhere.

The Apothecary diaries has become a top 10 show for me. MaoMao is a hell of a character. The season when this aired with Frieren and this was a blast. Can't wait for second season and continue the story of "Sherlock" MaoMao and her rivalry with "Moriarty" Suiren. HE HE.

Do a movie if possible. Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll is next in the series. Unfortunately there aren't very many short series that can fill the temporary slot that won't overlap with S2’s release of A.D.

2nd this. Silent Voice was also directed by the same person and studio who did Liz and the Bluebird. Very much worth watching! If you haven't checked out a Makoto Shinkai film. Check out "Your Name".

Gundam Thunderbolt is 4 ~20mins episodes with a great OST, animation, and characters. You'd have to use an unofficial site probably though. Theme: war in space is brutal. Edit: so you might as well play your favorite tracks as you fight, a-la Iron Eagles.

Castlevania S1 is just 4 eps, great to fill the timeslot, with an added bonus that if you end up liking it there's more to watch when another time slot opens up.

1st season of Promised Neverland is 12 episodes long. People have overwhelmingly criticized season 2, so there's probably no need to watch that season (haven't seen it for myself).

Madoka Magica has a pretty sick soundtrack. 12 episodes is maybe a bit much though since Apothecary Diaries S2 releases in less than a month.

Look Back would be a potentially interesting 1 off. It's a "movie" but the actual run time is like 50ish minutes and I think you'd probably heavily relate to it as a creator. OST is pretty spectacular as well

For a quick one-shot level anime that isn’t a movie, I think you might be into something like FLCL. Talk about influential to Jap-rock and just anime as a whole. Only 6 episodes!

I would still recommend LINK CLICK since S1 is 11 episodes but honestly it’s better to watch S1 + 2 all the way through because of how intense the plot can get. So it’s best if you can find a shorter series to fill the gap.
