Grilled eel rice box (Unajuu) is an amazing dish. Kind of expensive but definitely worth a try at least once, especially if you find yourself in Japan one day. The Shizuoka prefecture is famous for their eel.

Bocchi is too. But at least they used some reverb on top to feel like it's live. In GBC is like they just slapped the studio versions and it just doesnt match what on screen.

One of my nitpicks with this show is the sound design for the "live performances". They sound very... studio like. And I dont mean like the performance. I mean things like the vocals being very dry, like, this is supposed to be outside, where's the reverb? lol. Compare this to Bocchi's live performances and they sounds more natural based on what's on screen.

I know you've said plenty of times you don't have time for movies, especially with a crazy packed schedule like this weeks but if you ever somehow found yourself wanting to squeez one in or even just wanted to watch a movie in your free time I cannot recommend Blue Giant enough. This show made me think of it since the plot isn't actually too different from it with the main character being a guy in his late teens moving to the big city to pursue a career in jazz. Great story, incredible animation and phenomenal music.

Curious to know which you find to be more visually impressive, this or Sound! Euphonium. It almost feels unfair to compare them because the style is so different.

So all the performances are fully motion captured by the band which is also the voice actors all the way down to their fingers and feet. The main girl as well if I remember correctly was 15/16 irl when this was done.
