I upgraded just for this haha. I love Konosuba and am very excited that you already enjoy it. Re: Zero pokes fun at the Isekai genre in the first episode but then turns into it's own show with more serious moments/plot. While Konosuba is a full parody of the Isekai genre the entire way through. I was worried the show might not land as well because a lot of the scenes parody and poke fun at a genre that you haven't seen a lot of yet. Like how normally the hero gets killed by a truck, brought to another world, gains some godly power, and goes on to be a hero with a ton of girls in tow who are all over him. While with Kazuma...he gets the "wish" or "we have Isekai at home" versions of all those things haha. If you're into it already though, even without having a lot of other Isekais to reference, you're going to keep loving this. I am an avid D&D player and I always describe Konosuba as "People who play D&D always think their party is going to be like LOTR when, in reality, most D&D parties end up as Konosuba". Just a bunch of deranged misfits goofing around and causing havoc haha. Also, though I am a die hard Re: Zero fan I'll let the comment slide :P as Konosuba is a fantastically hilarious ride. Can't wait for the next reaction!

I've said this before, but Konosuba is my all time favorite anime! A funny tidbit: the animators had a good-natured "civil war" where they disagreed on how the characters tits should be drawn/animated. One side wanted the exaggerated "balloon" physic boobs, while the other side wanted more natural looking boobs with realistic weight to them. So they compromised, and some characters have big bouncy bahoongas, while the others have more natural looking boinky doinkies.

I upgraded for this show. After how much you enjoyed the first two episodes I don't think I have to explain why. Also I love Re:Zero but I can't get mad if you like this more cause it's such a good time

They say Megumin's name is weird but dont really localize the reason for it. Megumi is a common enough name in japan. Megumin is sort of a really informal nickname. It's like she just came up and introduced herself as the Arch Wizard, Ricky Bobby

The fact that you're into DnD, watching Re:Zero and that your expectations are low because of this being in the cringe tier just elevated the value of this anime 200%. Honestly, imo this is a good comedy outside of some of the sexual jokes that it has.

Pretty much this. For the most part, this will be an enjoyable ride. Some moments are going to be laugh out loud hilarious. But there will probably be a few moments here and there that are cringe or can otherwise make the viewer feel uncomfortable.

Also yeah this show was made to make fun of shows like re zero. The fact that it's literally a video game is part of the joke, nerd dies and wakes up in world that's just like his video games is the plot of like 1000 identical shows that all take themselves super serious. But yea like you said it actually stands on its own despite being a parody

you mentioned it at the end, but you can probably already tell, this is not a serious show at all. its pure comedy. The reason it got voted in for T3 is mostly because some of the jokes featured in here are kinda out of pocket or super ecchi, and would not normally fit in T2. i know for a fact that you will 100% enjoy this show alot because this show is pretty much just a DnD campaign filled with lovable idiots, both for the main cast and supporting cast. On a side note, i love that this is in T3, means more enjoyable episodes for me, and if it goes with the pace that H.O.T.D had, im going to a have a decent chunk of good weeks ahead of me 🔥🔥
