I could be tripping but, I think they said last episode he wasn't at 100% yet. He was still coming back from the last fight. I think they even told him to try the hot spring to help him heal. Depending on what you like about this series I would try not to have expectations for this season. And maybe the next.

No matter how many times I see it slow motion anime logic will never not bother me. Tanjiro swings his sword while in midair, has the thought he might break it, begins to shift his sword, the kid recognizes this, proceeds to tell him it's ok and Tanjiro then shifts his sword back to hit it. I honestly can't comprehend why someone would write it like that🤣

I wouldn't say this is the "calm" before the storm, but it's definitely the lull...things get turned up to 11 quickly in this show

Yeah usually every Shonen has a loud character as comedy however Demon slayer takes it to the extreme

I feel like someone points the gun at their head and says “now after that amazing episode you have to bring back the unnecessary loud asf comedy” Sadly that’s the case with demon slayer. Usually every shonen has unnecessary comedy but it’s never loud and high pitched like this in ds lol.
