I am wondering if you're planning on continuing with Fate after this. After this comes Unlimited Blade Works. You might enjoy it more because there's more action, but the main cast is teenagers unlike this one so that might be a turn off for you. Would love to see you complete the series though, some of the best fights in all of anime are in Fate.

The exposition episodes being kind of boring to watch/hard to follow is a downside of watching the prequel first that I haven't thought about before. I appreciate you fighting through those parts lol

I mean I agree, episode 7 was just exposition and not in the most entertained way. Seen just the face Waver getting more and more sleepy while talking with Rider for 5 minutes or more for example.
