no i get it, thats what im saying, sometimes the rules these platforms have are stupid, youtube, twitch, all of them, and from your own stories not all of them makes sense, like the whole jhoes origin story, lol
DrumRollTony
I don't know dude. It's the rules and I just follow them.
Red Menace
heres a question, do you still think this anime would be a great, a classic, without the soundtrack?
Red Menace
oh so theres no way to be like, this one video has a adult tag but the rest of the patreon is fine? also if pat is going to allow adult content and creators, and they are going to have them be able to post still images and links to videos and stuff, at what point does it matter, and in this case its not even like its porn, its more like artistic nudity, so stupid
DrumRollTony
If you rate your Patreon as adult, you CANT host any videos on it. EVERYTHING has to be a link to Google Drive or something that can host vids. Massive extra steps
Red Menace
really? you have to edit it on patreon? i thought nudity was ok so long as you rated it adult and age gated the video? or am i mis-understanding? either way love this episode, man that sax though

That track is incredible. Love the mininalistic soundscape it creates and then flows into a groove with the almost African Savannah like chanting and drums
Kristopher
some lovely fretless bass work in that track too

Steve Conte is a great singer and musician. Granted I have only ever heard the work he was done with Yoko Kanno in various anime soundtracks, but he is fantastic. The song you commented on here in episode 13 is called "Words That We Couldn't Say" which you can listen to the full version on his YouTube channel here: youtube.com/watch?v=satDkS4qB34

I think it's a really nice touch that when Vicious gets mentioned Spike abandons his usual zen aikido fighting style and just starts smashing people's face in.

Oh also I feel like it all happened so fast but you might have missed that the bomb that Gren threw at Vicious was just the suitcase of "Opal" that was really just a bomb that Vicious intended to kill Gren with. Also the reason Gren didn't ask Vicious about sending him to jail, was because he didn't tell Faye the whole story, and that the little music box that Vicious gave him was actually hiding a transmitter, as in Vicious was the real spy and he dumped his evidence on Gren and framed him. Gren knew Vicious really did betray him since Julia told him to open the music box and he found the transmitter. Also as a rule of thumb, most fake currency is anime is usually just an equivalent to yen, so if they say there was 20,000 Woolong in their safe, they really just mean about $200.

wouldn't want you turning into a fairy after that sneeze

Take care, Tony

It's been years since I've watched this show and I don't remember much of it and I certainly don't remember disliking Faye this much. She is not likable so far.
Avalon
Space lion, the piece with the sax, hand drum, and tribal chants, has been on my main rotation of instrumental tracks for years now. It’s just such a mystical floating piece. I can close my eyes and immerse myself in it

Lmao Faye IS triflin
Justin Taylor
I like how Faye annoys you about as much as Ed does for me lol
Hermit
Tracks in this episode : - Words that we couldn't say (with male singer) - Space Lion (with the sax) Jupiter Jazz were the only episodes I didn't like back when I first watched the show as a teen. I like them better now, but I think it's one of those episodes that get better on a rewatch. It's also pretty much how I feel about Faye.
Fuji Nami
i love bebop
Trowa
Your love and concern for Ein makes me laugh every time. Jupiter Jazz i feel tends to be some of peoples least liked episodes but its always been a fave coupla episodes.
