it's unfortunately a very vocal demographic within the action/fighting esque anime audiences... that group often does not care about anything but the 'fight scenes'. The moment you get depth, plot or character arcs they cry and claim its a bad anime. One reason why I'm glad crunchy roll removed the commenting system at all on anime lmao... was actually exhausting to see them whine on perfectly good episodes.

Since you're looking for an rpg you should check out Granblue Fantasy Relink. Nice artstyle and graphics, good music, sick combat, epic bosses and even has multiplayer. I am kinda sad you didn't click with Monster Hunter though 😭
