There's a big jojo event in april and one of the panels is about the past, present, and future of the jjba anime so fingers crossed we get a part 7 confirmation next month

The jojo OVAs are fun. They're based on a little side project Araki made that is basically just Rohan running into supernatural phenomena that aren't stands. They're also not released in any kind of chronological order, idk if you noticed but this one said it was episode 16.

After the OVAs, we still have 2 parts to watch. There are still some Jojo parts after that but those didn't get an anime adaptation yet. It's been about 2 years since the end of part 6 so maybe by the time you're caught up, the new episodes will be right around corner.

OVAs usually have better animation no matter the anime. It's a special lol. It's more rare these days though but back in the day ova's was the cherry on top of finishing a show or a season. The thing is modern animation has gotten so good that there's not much difference. This style is like part 5 and part 6 though (the animation quality hasn't improved much though).
