If you're interested, there's a first take version of the opening to this season. Definitely worth a listen!

Kaguya has been in my top 3 of all time for Romcom anime ever since it's first season and I'm glad you're enjoying it and having a blast lol. Hopefully you react to some more Romcom anime down the line

i looked at a fansub and there it's "right! i forgot!" and i agree it fits much better

While I’ll never agree that this is a show worthy of the DAD spot, I am still glad we’re doing it Such a good anime

As this is probably my all time favorite series, I'm really happy to see you enjoying it. I have a pet peeve with the subs in this episode. It's minor but when Kei first mentions the fact that they don't exchange gifts in their family, Kaguya's reaction of "sou deshita!" Gets subbed as "I had no idea". Imo this is not a good translation. "I'd forgotten!" Or "Oh right!" Would be better. They even show shots in the background calling back to the scene in S1 where the pres tells her about this. So even just from the context clues and the actual dialogue in S1, "I had no idea" doesn't work as a translation. She knew, but she forgot and is getting reminded in this scene because of what Kei says. Anyways, rant over haha

Kinda off topic but also on kinda on topic. You mentioned in a previous reaction on genshin music that you started/tried playing Genshin, but you disliked/hated the English VA of Paimon. (little fairy that overexplains stuff) Kaguya is the JP VA of Paimon, her voice is most similar to the ''Fool'' Kaguya shown in the courtroom.

People like the dub because it's a novelty not because it's actually comparable or better to the sub. You said it best, it's "funny" to hear them in English. But the delivery of their lines and emotions is not even close
