All of the different Kaguya personalities are generally together and thinking about what to do as she navigates daily life, but in this situation since they're unsure and in a disagreement, the Ice Princess version of her decided to fully unveil. It's like when you're really grumpy for a full day and other people have to talk to that version of you. Also, there's a slight scene in the opening that when I first saw it I freaked the fuck out over. At the end of the opening, you see someone closing a book, I'm thinking it's Kaguya, and she has a wedding ring on and the book is called "Memories". That shit threw me for a WHOLE loop and I had to take a while to actually process it basically telling us exactly where they're ending up. Now we just get to see the story of how they get there.
