Since Leslie's a big fan of the original Dracula novel, we thought we'd watch the 1992 Bram Stoker's Dracula film adaptation by a guy who's currently in the news for being an asshole (though we didn't realize it was his movie before we watched it). And whooboy. Did not like it. It's certainly an accurate adaptation of the novel (to an extent) and there's some great cinematography for sure, but... god damn. It's just so over-edited to the point of being near incomprehensible. The story is told at such a breakneck pace that it doesn't give any scene room to breathe, let alone be processed so you understand what anyone's doing.
But hey, at least I won't have to wait long to see Keanu Reeves acting in some REAL CINEMA. SONIC 3, BABBBYYYY! SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG IS GOING TO SAVE MOVIES MOTHERFUCKERS. YOU THOUGHT DRACULA DYING WAS SAD??? WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE A LITTLE GIRL GET SHOT BY THE GOVERNMENT IN FRONT OF HER EDGY 2 FT. HEDGEHOG
