Boy, it must be chilly in there, huh.
Low-key weekend for us! Spent a lot of it working on our game project. Leslie has been desperately trying to fill the void in FFXIV's content lull by bouncing between other MMOs. Guild Wars 2 hooked them for a good while, but frustrations with the cash shop-heavy nature and the lack of real endgame content has soured an otherwise good experience. Leslie also tried WoW for a bit, and hated every minute of it. Sadly, it felt like nothing would fill that FFXIV-shaped hole in their heart... until they tried Baldur's Gate 3. Turns out, Leslie just needed some damn good fantasy-ass fantasy! Did you know that there's over 30,000 Baldur's Gate fanfics on Archive of Our Own? I do now, thanks to Leslie! Need to catch up with their progress so I can talk more about it...

Last time I played an MMORPG was WoW. Tell a lie... I tried TESO for a minute, couldn't get into it and tried LOTRO and couldn't get into it. BG3 though? Really damn good. Very pretty, I've not usually been a fan of RNG mechanics but I've enjoyed playing it. I should continue my playthrough at some point.
