Trap Online Chapter 51: The Druid

We ordered food and started to bring up our food and drink levels. Viccy brought up the question of what class of healer we wanted to heal for us. I thought only priests did that and stated so. Iona looked at me like I was an idiot. Viccy sighed deeply only to look at me and shook her head.
"There are many types of healers. Priests are closely tied to religion and are hard to recruit. They are an area of effect healers better suited to large engagements with large groups. I was thinking more along the lines of a druid. They can heal over time and fight with us. They are tied to nature, and they are more prone to be promiscuous. This would make it easier to recruit." Viccy finished, and Iona nodded along.
"Viccy is correct. With you being a succubus, it would make it almost impossible to bring one with us. They really hate anything related to demons. If it wasn't for the fact, we saved a lot of traumatized women. The priests wouldn't have healed us at all yesterday. You must realize your demon aligned Elli. This will stop most priests from working with us. This is one of the consequences of working with that woman." She snarled out the reference to Mistress. Viccy picked up on it but promptly ignored that. She already knew about Mistress.
"Okay," I spoke, "That makes sense, that a priest wouldn't be a good option for us. We are in the Elven forest. Does this seem like somewhere druids would hang out? Lots of trees and nature would make them happy, right?"
Viccy face palmed while looking at me like some inexperienced person. Then it dawned on her that I was. I watched her with patience stopped. She knew I was never a gamer and took pride in my studies. I moved quickly in life with this mentality. She looked at me with a refreshed viewpoint.
"Yes, Druids are fabled to originate from the Elves as well, Elli. We can ask the Adventurers Guild where they are as well. This would make finding them simple, and we can see if we can recruit one." She smiled at me when she finished. I was questioning why she smiled like that, tilting my head in question. She seemed to know something I didn't.
"Viccy, what are you not telling me?" I spoke point-blank at her with a look. I was demanding an answer and was not going to let it go. She smiled wryly.
"Fine, ruin the fun. Iona could probably tell you that Druids are weird. We could look for a warlock as well. They are summoners as well and could have a Healing demon summon. This wouldn't be the best choice. Remember this when dealing with druids. We must remain neutral in most things. They will take sides but must be related to the balance. Otherwise, if they go too off focus, they can lose powers. This also happens with priests. These classes have major increases due to this. In this world, all bad things come with good things. Your class as an illusionist is mystical and hard to understand. The spells are hard to understand and learn. I am surprised how fast you picked it up, to be honest." She finished.
I thought about it and realized she was right. I was always good at memorization, but the amount to do with syllables made it really hard. I learned quickly, though, and so did my ability to manipulate my voice.
We started to finish our meal and discussed more on the topic of the druid. What came to a surprising question was gender. Both seemed to rather a woman over a male, even if she was Futanari. This surprised me, and I stated so. They both gave ard no's, though. I was surprised but shrugged my shoulders. They didn't seem to want to explain it.
We paid for our meal before leaving towards the adventurers guild. The trip was uneventful, and the answer just as so. The receptionist gave us a wry smile and sent us towards the teleport pads where I first arrived at the Elven forest city. She told us it would take us to the Druid's gate. Most idle druids worked and lived there.
After spending even more time to get to the city teleporters, we found our destination. I paid the gold traveling fee, and the world warped around us. The dizziness was there again as we arrived on the other side. We showed up on the edge of a forest. Forest attached to a desert with no transition. It was grass, then just sand. It made a weird change. On the other side was a giant gate with green in the center. It gave off a low hum constantly.
We started to walk towards the gate when a woman covered in leather all over showed up. She walked towards us, and I noticed the cat ears above her head. She had a commanding air about her. The air around her was commanding. I was astonished as she had natural confidence I hadn't seen in a long time. This woman ruled the room or space she was in. When she arrived before us, she had a sweet smile.
"I heard from the adventurers guild some treats were looking for a member." She showed a more devious smile now before continuing, "I told the adventurers guild I was looking for a team," Her hand reaches down under my chin, tilting it to each side. "You look positively delicious!" She exclaimed, looking at me, "You are a charming little thing, aren't you?"
Viccy stepped up to her quickly. "Hey, Stop treating Elli like that!" She exclaimed.
I was embarrassed that she stepped up before I could react. I was caught off guard, and Iona stepped up next. The new cat women put up a hand.
"Sorry about that, I heard from the adventurer guild an Elf, Dragon-kin, and a Succubi were looking for another team member. I have been using the Adventurers guild to look for a new team. I am a Druid of the Balance. I heard a group that fit my criteria show up, and I got excited!" She told us, licking her lips. I could see her quirks already. She wasn't shy either, as I noticed when her hand went between my legs. I yelped in surprise as her hand reached under my skirt. She full-on felt up my balls and dick. Her surprised face was quickly followed up with a large smile.
"Follow me," She commanded, walking towards the town that looked minuscule to the gate behind it.
I looked at Iona then Viccy, and they both shrugged. I was a bit outraged by how I just got felt up. We walked towards the desert town following a commanding cat-kin who still hadn't told us her name.
As we neared the town, everyone nodded with respect and fear towards her. This was odd, in my opinion. She neared a building with a mug of frothing beer sign above the door. She entered in, and the woman walked straight to the corner door. She opened the door, and we entered in.
"Why are we following her?" I asked to Iona and Viccy as we entered the room.
Viccy looked at me and told me, "Curiosity," She told me with a smile.
Iona just looked at me, "Curiosity," She mimicked.
Inside was a private dining area. It was a simple booth for us to eat and drink in. She sat in the booth, looking back at us. "Perfect, you are not all pussies," She said, and I was questioning why following like sheep didn't make us pussies.
"Now I am looking for a group, and your little Succubus is right up my alley," She licked her lips, looking at me, "I was hoping for a group of women, some with some dicks, some without. "Okay, first of all, what's shapeshifting? What can you do with it? What makes you want to join our group?" I finished, trying to establish control.
Bloom smiled, "Great questions. I can transform into a cat, I like to call it a tiger, though. My claws in that form are sharp, and I can kill fast in that form. The problem with it is I cant heal. That is true with almost all transformations. I want to join you because I like women, I cannot handle men very well, and I love to watch," She looked me up and down.

I was open to it. Viccy looked at me and shrugged. "Saves us time to try her out. We can always push her out if we are uncomfortable later." Viccy said, and I had to agree. Iona nodded, and it was decided.
Bloom had a large smile on her face. She looked at me with fascination. I was surprised to see how easy it was for us to find an NPC druid. She had quirks, but don't we all?

This is one of the characters I will be working hard to develop properly. I think she will be fun, though.

I am on the fence with this chapter. I like it but also don't. Tell me what you guys think about it. I sat rereading it for three hours trying to find what I disliked about it while liking it. I need some feedback. I am entirely open to redoing this chapter, to be honest. The character of the Druid is coming out right but I still don't like it, and I am going crazy over it with my tired mind. I will stop ranting now. Please enjoy and tell me what you think.
