In the mood for Lost, so enjoying your full reaction to some of my favorite eps. Much better than watching alone. John breaking down in his car just guts me every time. Oh, Kevin Tighe, his pos dad, has guest starred on many shows. And was in the movie Rose Red. In the 70s he starred in Emergency for several years. Good show. (to answer your question) ps. Maybe this comment won't attract chicks yelling "spoiler" at me with exclamation!

What happened Boone is of course tragic and I agree that Locke should have told Jack; but if we look at it from Lockes perspective; just in that moment; he is obviously terrified and confused. He is probably thinking that "the island" wants him to go to the hatch and he goes straight there or maybe he will be paralysed again. He is saying "I don't understand" and "I did everything you wanted me to do, so why did you do this to me"- this is a great moment of terror and grief and confusion for him.

*Tears* I love this episode so much. It's my favourite of Season 1. The music as Locke is crying in the car and at the hatch at the end just moves me to tears. Poor Locke and Boone :(
