I watched this movie after independence day cause you mentioned it in the reaction. That scene where Ben Affleck says goodbye to Harry literally kills me everytime. I really think it's one of Ben's best acting I've ever seen before. Also you mentioned how surprised you were by Owen Wilson's acting in this movie and you will be blown away if you ever end up watching NO ESCAPE... I've said it a thousand times, I know. You will not regret it. :/

1) 2:23:45 - on the other hand, he is marring the only daughter of the man that saved every living thing on the planet with his own hands! 2) There is a Planetary Defense Conference that takes place I think every year and their job is to do a "war game" simulation on a possible asteroid impact. They are given a scenario and work from there. They calculate if it's going to hit, where, when, damage, what can be done: from nukes to sending a ship. So don't worry, they are training for this. 3) Have you seen "Deep Impact"? You haven't mentioned it during the reaction and since that movie came out the same year as Armageddon and has the same basic premise, I'm guessing you haven't seen it? It's a more realistic take, not as campy, but a very good watch. Consider reacting!

Loved this unexpected reaction. Thanks! "Classic movies I've missed" would make a great reaction series if you have time in between shows. Any 80's or 90's classics you've missed somehow? Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Good Will Hunting, Snatch, Trainspotting, Memento... to name a few.
