The fun thing in the beginning is: the guy playing Hoskins speaks a lot better german than the guy that supposedly is german,, he actually sounds af he doesn't speak german at all and memorized sounds ... it's so funny

if this helps with the snap vs blip terminology thing, i've seen it explained that "the snap" refers to when thanos won in infinity war and snapped away half of all life, whereas "the blip" is supposed to refer to when bruce brought everyone back in endgame. and i think a lot of the time when people mention "the blip" they're talking about the ensuing fallout from half the universe returning.

Karlie for sure is turning into what she’s trying to fight. It sucks because it corrupts the validity of the cause because now they’re extremists. Anywhos, Sam is just trying to figure out his life and purpose after Steve and so is Bucky. Only now they have to do it together while fighting larger battles.

I sympathize with the rebels / terrorists motives, but not their methods. Definitely can see that for a lot of people... with 50% of the population gone... that things got much better. More than enough decent homes, jobs, and resources for everyone during those 5 years. It's really cool to see this side of things more fully explored. Because in Endgame, all we saw was devastation from the Snap (hate calling it the Blip, sounds more trivial). And then, hooray, everyone's back. Not the logistical nightmare that follows people wanting their homes back, etc...

PSA: You guys are confusing Age of Ultron with Civil War(understandable). While Sokovia was destroyed in Age of Ultron, we don’t meet Zemo and learn about his family until Civil War.

Madripoor is kinda like Marvel's Gotham I think! A fictional city from the comics that's lawless and has all sorts of crazy activity. You guys hit the nail on the head on why I love these MCU shows, they give us so much time with "secondary characters" and allows them to turn into full characters that you can say you love or enjoy even more than before with just the movies. A lot of the time the MCU movies are dealing with such heavy, gigantic, world-ending stakes that there's no time to sit and really think about who all these characters are and what they'd do and who they're family is, etc Zemo is such a great villain, he is uncompromising in his hatred for superheroes and super soldiers (which make up pretty much the entirety of our protagonists), but he manages to make a lot of sense sometimes and be very charming and entertaining so I can't hate him entirely. Even though it's absolutely awful how he's used Bucky. He's kinda like Loki to me. Has done horrible things, but he's just...too fun to get rid of lol

I, too, love the fact they are using the secondary characters from the movies in these series. I always wanted Bucky to have a redemption story. The way he protected Steve as children & young adults, then got manipulated into killing - he deserves one. And, of course, I always liked Sam.

Zemo is such a fantastic character /portrayal... you can't help but enjoy him. (The mask is classic comic book Baron Zemo.) And Sharon should be a badass... she was an Agent of SHIELD before siding with Steve and having to go on the run... as well as Peggy's niece.

The very short clip of Zemo dancing at the party was hugely popular when this first came out and was clipped and lopped and many people added other music. Thus, the “Dancing Zemo” meme was born. 😂
