As the air starts to run out, the human body will suffer from Hypoxia. Anxiety, confusion, restlessness, fatigue, euphoria, inability to concentrate, and eventually death. My guess is that Alicia and that lady are starting to show symptoms of the low amount of oxygen available, when they are telling stories and giggling.
