Making Enchanted Forest Tiles

I have a few more of these to post as well, showing how to make the other parts but lets start with the tiles!
So for the tiles I roll the clay out using the rolling pin with handles and two 0.325cm spacers. This seems like a good depth for tiles to be strong and get the detail needed without using too much clay.
I then take the forest floor roller and roll over the clay using the same spacers to get a nice even floor.
Next I use the path or stream rollers to add a bit of detail to the tile.
The cutting of the tiles using the 4" tile cutter then comes next and then the pressing of the grid with the grid press.
After this I add details with stamps such as the lily pads in the stream or the animal prints before putting any extra bits like mushroom onto the tiles.
I leave the clay to dry attached to the pastry board to ensure it dries nice and flat and once it has I remove it carefully and stick them onto thin sheets of foam to give them added strength and a nice soft bottom.
Next comes painting and then you are done!

thx a lot for your answers. Actually the first print with some rollers, handles and spacers is on its way. Have to check than how they work, i am a bit confused about so many stuff :-)

which kind of glue are you useing to stick the clay on the foamboard - pva-glue or something else?

Regular old PVA glue generally works well, although I can't say we've tried it on acrylic yet!

Any recommendations for gluing clay down to acrylic? Got random D&D play area planned using the clay to make this weekend :D
