Hey Justin! Here are a few things to consider to help you troubleshoot this. 1) Clay Moisture: Super moist clay has a greater chance of sticking. Sometimes when it's super fresh it can be extra moist. After rolling your clay out flat, try waiting a few minutes to let it dry a little bit before applying the texture. You could also try a light dusting of baby powder or cornstarch on your roller to help with sticking from moisture. 2) Clay Depth: Details can sometimes bottom out on your rolling surface if your clay isn't quite thick enough to capture the deepest details in the roller. This could be one reason things like noses, mouths, and eyes aren't getting captured properly in your texture. Using the Spacers from the roller toolkit to ensure an even and appropriate depth can help this. (see link below) 3) Texture Rolling Pressure: If you aren't rolling your texture hard enough, the deepest details won't get captured. Usually, this leads to less detail overall as well as deep details getting cut off totally. Once you know your clay surface is thick enough for sure, this is easy to test by rolling a bit harder than usual :) Here is a video that walks through the process. There are some others on our channel you can take a look at as well! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNLkstgpcs8

Can anyone recommend a YouTube video or guide for keeping DAS from sticking to the texture roller? Even when it doesn't stick, I don't seem to get the same level of detail shown here or in the YouTube video. The shape of the faces is definitely there, but the noses. mouth, eyes are hit and miss.

Thank you!

Could you incluide a link to the MMF each month? It would make it easier on us patrons

I’m trying to figure out how I can make this lifesize so I can redo my sidewalk with it.

Glad you're able to find something in there that suits you, Peter! These types of sets let us flex our creative muscles a little bit more than usual haha

July 2023 means it's already been 12 months of support, keep up the excellent work!

Wasn't sure I was going to get much use out of this month, but I can see a use for the roller with runes on that is a nice addition, and I might even use the second one with runes but I will need to remove the faces, either before printing or I might just smooth the clay after rolling, the stamp for thin cracks will work nicely with some of the earlier sets too.

Love the details on this set! Totally gonna use this to base my chaos army! Best set yet!
