Just started a Twitter account ^_^

To be perfectly honest, neither Tom or I have ever been much into social media (none of us are on Facebook, for example). And I've also been of the mindset that as long as I post some reports on our respective project websites, people can follow the progress without being active patrons. (A mindset that, in these days, may be a little outdated ^^;). Still, several people have voiced their opinions for something that's easier to follow (easier than visiting multiple websites to keep yourself updated...), and have suggested Twitter.
So, a few days ago I opened a Twitter account for Wildside Comix, and used those days to make some posts in order for the page to not be completely empty. Twitter-land is still brand new territory for me...but I guess I'm starting to slowly get the hang of it ^_^;
As always, many previews will still be exclusive for our patrons, but I'll keep the Twitter account updated with news as often as I can, and I also plan to add some additional info that is not patreon-post material.

Thanks! ^_^ I'm afraid it's not very likely that "Darkheim" will have a sequel, though...but I might consider a new comic project at a later time ^_^

Well, it might be that most of the patrons don't really care much about it, and the people who have asked me to open a Twitter account might be just a minority. The newsfeed on Patreon is mostly targeted to current patrons, though, and from my understanding it's the ones who may not be a constant supporter who would like an "easier" way to keep themselves updated. I'm a bit old-fashioned in that regard, since prior to this I've never used Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or any of that stuff. The closest I've been to using any kind of social media was when I once used "MSN Messenger" in my younger days (whew...I'm getting old XD). In any case, I figured I'd just give it a go since several people asked for it, and then those who are interested may make some use of it ^_^

Well, we all have our personal views on things, nothing wrong with that ^_^. And like most places, I guess Twitter is prone to some heavy misuse. Upon making my first twitter posts there, I was actually asked to confirm not being a bot two times by captcha and sms verification...apparently caused by me using the hashtag "webcomic" in two posts in a row, which I guess looked like spam or something... ^_^;
Nice! I do not follow a lot of people on Twitter but you guys will be on my list. While I cannot support you financially every month, I've tried to keep myself updated on all your projects by visiting your websites. I'm looking forward to seeing more of both your games and comics. Will there be a sequel to Darkheim by any chance? :-)

Personal view on stuff like Twitter and facebook isn't what I feel is old fashion but.. more progressive as more and more people seam to be learning.. and that is 'RUN! RUN FAR RUN FAST!". Twitter isn't as bad as it's just an old status pager system... but like facebook, mostly greatly mis-used by people.. but whatever you like ^_^ If you are happy with it, fine. Probably reaches a larger (though dying) amount of people so that's fair enough. Like I said, Personal view
