MLH & MLH2 Poll: Content settings
🕑 Added 2019-07-21 15:47:42 +0000 UTCSo far, the "Monster Love Hotel" game gives you the ability to play just one of the characters (for those who want to avoid yaoi content, or yuri content).
However, there are also people who dislike futa content. In the previous update, a scene where Golda used her futa spell on Erwan (a scene that was requested by patreon supporters earlier), was added...but it's come to my attention that some people really, really want to avoid any scenes with futa on male (and preferably, any futa content at all).
Now, "Monster Love Hotel" has always been a game that tries to include both yaoi, yuri and futa on a regular basis (I've also had some complaints from supporters about a lack of yaoi content and male characters, which is why the sequel will always feature a mix of both female, male and futa characters). That being said, there are also people who really, really seem to have a big need to block out certain scenes.
I've decided that MLH2 will have filters which also includes any futa scenes, but I'm curious to see how big the wish is for a similar filter in the current game as well. So, I'm holding this poll to figure that out.
Depending on the results from this poll, I will also add additional filters in MLH. Adding these filters in the current game will need additional time to implement, as it will require a lot of changes as to how the game is set up in order to avoid any futa scenes (Lurette, Elva and Batilda would have to be skippable, which would require a lot of changes). It's still doable, I just want to point out that choosing this option will require additional time to the game's progress.
So: this poll has three options:
1. "I'd like to be able to filter out yaoi/yuri/futa content in MLH2".
This option means you're fine with the current game being in the state it is, and see no need to spend further time filtering out certain scenes.
2. "I'd like to have yaoi/yuri/futa filters in MLH2, but also to filter out any futa scenes in MLH".
This option means you'd like me to spend additional time to be able to filter out any futa scenes (which means the Lurette, Elva and Batilda battles will be skippable). This will require a lot of changes to implement, but if people really want me to do it I will.
3." I'd like filters in MLH2, but I'm fine with MLH the way it is if I can just avoid any yaoi or futa on male scenes."
This option means you really just want to avoid seeing any more scenes where Golda is using her futa spell on Erwan or any other non-skippable yaoi/futa on male content. Since there is literally just 1 scene (the latest "futa spell" scene between Erwan and Golda that is a non-skippable scene) this will be very easy to implement with little additional time involved ^_^)
This poll will run until August 14th.
Note: This is not a "I'll only do what wins" poll. I'll actually implement option 3 nonetheless ^_^. I just really want to see people's stance on this.

In the upcoming MLH2 game, all content will be optional anyway so no problems for anyone there at least ^_^;. Some people seemed to be really put off due to the latest "Golda's futa spell on Erwan" scene, however...which sparked some comments and feedback from users who would like to filter out certain things. Getting a few comments here and there tells little about the actual consensus from the supporters, however...so I wanted to throw this poll to see if the majority really views this as a problem. So far, it doesn't look like many people find Option2 necessary...which means that MLH will most likely continue in its current state until completion (with just a minor change with the option to skip that latest scene) ^_^

I'm not going to censor anything at all, just give those who want an option to not view it ^_^. Like Tempy commented in a post above, this means that they will "miss out" on several scenes, but if that's what they want, then ok...everyone who wants to view the futa content will not miss out on anything, of course ^_^

I think you should respect people's opinions but censoring a porn game is just ridiculous and is just surrendering to the irrational whims of some few people at the expense of the rest of your patrons which will get less new content each month cause you will be busy censoring and removing content from your games.

why should you censor anything for some whiners who can't see some futa stuff? its not like there is a lot of high-quality artists that makes futanari porn(most of them do ridiculous and unrealistic futanari) so why the few good artists who are doing futanari porn should censor their art?. forget about this silly idea of censoring things, if those guys don't like futanari they can just watch some other porn with the usual boring conventional sex.

I love all the scenes,but i can understand some people wanting a filter they can use.

mm., tricky.. While there are some things I think of as more out and out no-no's for my tastes and I won't touch, mostly these are extremes and while I might not draw them myself, I won't stop looking at something or playing something just cause of them. I'm grown up enough to say "I personally don't think much of that, but I can live with it". Like pissing.. really not into that stuff (scat too ¬_¬ though it's kinda the same thing) I won't draw it myself, not a big fan but I have seen stuff that includes it and it's not a automatic throw down in anger and disgust.. BUT at the same time, I know how... limited such views are (kinda one reason I don't like terms like 'Mature; for adult content since.. a lot of people into adult content are sadly, still pretty childish.. you should see some Anti-gay comments in some places.. can't call them people mature', and personally, if you want to give people a choice or an option, that's probably fine, and in fact giving people options can always be a good thing.. it would mean they are missing out on SOO much of the content but.. that's there choice I guess.. problem is... where do you end? Yaoi/Yuri/Futa doesn't include stuff like pegging, some people are dead against any form of Anal play (either male or female)… yeah.. very tricky stupid indeed..

I think the scene between the MCs just seemed odd rather than having any issue specifically with futa or yaoi
