🕑 Added 2022-02-21 16:50:21 +0000 UTC... Genesis 8 Female body morph, a conforming clothing object, and have bones in the object for posing instead of just using dForce.
I'm so glad I wrote down the steps for making bones in clothing because I already forgot most of it.
I've seen clothing objects made that change the base mesh geometry at some point.
I wish I could add more loops in places I need to get better shapes but can't have it all (if I add a loop the morph geometry no longer matches the base geometry).
Been under the weather for the last couple weeks and I just can't seem to stick with a single project and just get it done. I have probably have a dozen little things I could post up but I might just take a little time to make my own packaging script before that. I know just thinking about the steps needed to setup DIM files is a pain in the butt.
Maybe I can figure out how to integrate what I made into the content system so that DIM can know if the package was installed or not.

Yeah, but if you want to get more geometry on the figure's morph shape, you can't. Vertex order has to match.

If you need help with custom-rigging clothes, you can always hit me up. =D I've got the whole thing almost down to a science, and once you get the hang of it you can't stop yourself from doing it for everything you can. Also, sometimes you don't need to add more loops to things to give them better bending, if that's the reason you're wanting to do so. You can smooth out the weight-mapping of certain areas you want to have smoother bends and such to soften harsher bends. It can definitely go a long way!

If you install the distributed clothes with daz install manager, they will still appear in the ready to install list even if they are all installed. I use content package assist to solve that problem. Use it to repackage and install your stuff and it will no longer appear in the ready to install list.
