I kind of want to see him do a bunch of delicate tasks now. Picking a lock broken off a chest. Pick his teeth with poison darts from a trap pulled out of his forehead. Play the lute while singing no one understands his pain....

For a few years now, we've been playing a campaign where we are the orcs and goblins of the wild lands, being pushed from our homes by an oppressive expansionary human empire. We have had this exact same thing happen in multiple adventures. (I am a sun-worshipping Goblin Cleric though).
