To be fair, she's not entirely wrong. We see those glory shots all the time of heroes battling villains in the middle of a city or other populated area. And those energy blasts and fireballs that miss don't just cease to exist off panel. They'd be blowing and vaporizing up civilians daily. Remember kids, that is EXACTLY what triggered the original Civil War in Marvel Comics. Funny thing is that characters in the Netflix series are typically the only ones in the print comics shown regularly thinking about the potential danger to civilians BEFORE starting their fights with supervilains. It was a running gag in Alias and Jessica Jones' other solo series that she would bitch out bad guys for starting crap in the middle of the day in heavily populated areas. And Luke does this all the time, even regularly chastising Iron Fist for forgetting. Want to get Punisher super pissed? Start crap with him in a populated area/involve innocent civilians. Damage Control was based entirely around this idea. DC just tends to completely ignore it in most cases in the comics and other non-film media.
