I don't think Cap has to worry. "He taught me to crochet" isn't the same as "he built me a house" in 'The Notebook.'
Dave Lerner
How is anybody supposed to compete w/ that???
Jeremy
How is she knitting a woven fabric? SR’s is perfect knit fabric. Her fabric is doing all kinda of great stuff when I zoom in. He has his work cut out for him teaching her. Great joke layering.

Sobek is growing to be one of my favorite characters on EI :D

This is now my head cannon! I don't care so much what she is knitting, but that she is knitting with steel or titanium or something! 😁 I love that idea!
Kevin Quigley
They're super villains with super strength. Who's to say she's not knitting a new chainmail bikini for the DD&DD crossover?

Coming Thursday: Sobek teaches Miss Match the finer points of leather work, and how to craft a cupless/crotchless BDSM corset.
Brad Guigar
My friend, I’m gonna be grinning to myself all day over that. 🙂
Jason
Honestly Brad, I just went back and really focused on all of the facial expressions in all of the frames and they are equally good. The progression flows with the story and the last frame handles the punchline so well that it stands out, as it should. This is going to sound like straight up fanboying, but I don't think it is my status as a fan speaking here when I say: holy sh*t has your expression game levelled up! Just looking at Sobek's face only in each frame, or just Miss Match's. The progression of each character's expression maps perfectly to both the story and the joke while still feeling very true to the individual characters. And it is all subtle and smooth enough that I had to be both a comic nerd and go looking for it to actually pick it out. Damn dude. 😲🤯 Just wow.

I need to watch that!

I can’t tell you how happy that makes me. I’ve been wrestling with this scene for DAYS, and I wasn’t sure it was good enough! Thank you! 😀
Brad Guigar
😂🤣😂 that... is a very difficult skill to learn!
Jason
This made me laugh so hard I nearly dropped my phone! 🤣 That last frame is high art. The expressions, the posture, the story, everything. I really think your facial expression skills have reached a new level recently, Brad. Super impressive!

Has he acquired skills to successfully extract himself from the "friend zone"?
Jeremiah Avery
The look on his face seems to convey "This isn't what I thought you had in mind."
Brad Guigar
As long as he doesn’t do his “sad elephant.”

Next will be the art of Shadow Puppetry!

This reminds me of Theron teaching all the warboys on Fury Road how to knit
