🕑 Added 2024-12-17 19:09:00 +0000 UTCI'm still hard at work on getting all Libby & Holly Ch3 colored (I'm over halfway through now why oh why did I leave this to the end 😭) but I've taken some time off in the evenings to doodle things using my December palette.
My buddy Havoc shared with me some character sheets from this hentai anime called Office Lingeries directed by Katsuhiko Nishijima, one of the key animators from Vampire Hunter D and its been infecting my brain ever since.
I cannot attest to its quality in any way-- but given the fact that it came out in 2003 it has a particular look that I am very much a sucker for.
I'm typically a much bigger fan of weighty weight in boob drawings but there is a different kind of appeal to this era of big titty anime babe. You miiiiiight see some of this influencing my drawings this month😅
This isn't a very substantive update but I'm trying to make sure I share more of my thoughts in my posts. And currently I'm pretty empty headed, dealing with holiday stress and the like. So, forgive me if I briefly drift into booba land. I'll come back.

I think sometimes my process is to go into a territory (ie boobaland) that I don't plan on staying but to learn some things while I'm there and then fold them back into my work afterwards 😁 we'll see what comes of it this time hehe

Booba land is such a nice retreat. I think no one here minds if you take some more time before coming back 😊 I also get what you mean by being weirdly into the big Anime tiddies from the (early) 2000s - they have a very nice aesthetic to them, and I still like to look at them although in general I prefer the weighty boobs you usually draw :3

This seems like an accurate assessment and I like your thoughts on garters, they're like formal wear nobody can see, and especially because they're not really necessary in the age of spandex. Kinda like knowing how to tie a bowtie when most people will only ever wear a clip on.

I imagine this era of BTAB had to stem from the implant era of porn, seems to fit the timeline. Also, there's just something special about garters, they scream power and confidence.
