Libby & Holly Chapter 3 (complete-ish) WIP

I'm still working on updating the latter pages with color and it's taking a while ๐

I can see that stylistic approach being VERY evident in your art, not just in Libby & Holly but in most of your figures. I had a quick look at the eromanga artists you mentioned in the comment below and I was both surprised and appeased at how some of the facial expressions and poses they draw are so similar to the ones found in your drawings. My main thought was, โOH, so he didnโt come up with it on his ownโ. And this is so helpful for when Iโm dealing with my personal creative insecurities โค๏ธ

Hehehe my eromangaka influences tend to be less about story/theme than about the way that they draw action or compositions! Shiwasu no Okina, Takemura Sesshu and Satou Murasame Eitaroh are some of my oldest influences :3

You're spot on, I think after finishing up projects more inspired by western comic artists/illustrators I wanted to try indulging in the stylistic approach of hentai manga. I really like how they create space to just show off how beautiful their characters are a lot of the time too :) I haven't used a lot of thought bubbles in my work in the past but it's become especially useful since so much of this story is in Libby's head to some extent because I feel like the eroticism comes from her anxiety about being caught and trying to read Holly, who has a very different temperament from her own. I appreciate you reading into things this much โค๏ธ I'll definitely talk about it more in the future knowing that there are fellow nerds who might enjoy the thoughts behind the process. :)

I had a great, grand time reading this all the way through, today - I somehow initially missed this full post so you'll see my likes sporadically until I figured that out. Your art is so very cute and evocative, there's several times I laughed out loud and was incredibly endeared to the characters the whole way through! As a fellow art history nerd (my special interest is statues and patina) and a kitchen witch, I really appreciated the rendering of the birch spirit and enjoy Aster's general vibe. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG Ffffffffuck, seeing it all grouped and mostly cleaned up and colored is just so good omg Too hot, brain can't words anymore, omg excite for the full release + physical copy >:3 Godsssss, just... love your work so much, with all the little details and narrative flow which just gets me (and now some of my friends who I share your stuff with XD) in the zoneeeeee (legit fav is seeing the foot and leg detail when they're fucking, just felt so much for the sexy desire in the footgrab and pose and mmmmmm!) /gen appreciate your works and labor! :3

I noticed this just recently, and please correct me if Iโm wrong, but the whole way you structured this comic (paneling, flow, narration) seems very much like the one of a hentai manga. I guess thatโs intentional, considering how you stated multiple times they influence your work. If my guess is correct, Iโd be curious to hear more of it in your art talks next year. :) And donโt worry about the โlackโ of content during the holidays, I mean theyโre called like that for a reason lol. So no rush at all! And Happy New Year ๐

We're all still here patiently waiting for your posts ๐ No worries, Wint! With the quality you put out there's no harm done by not posting much. It takes time to make something like that, and with the holidays at the end of the year it's not getting easier to squeeze everything in the limited time per day. You deserve to rest and enjoy time with family and friends, too.
